THE FLAT-LESS TYRE FOR WHEELCHAIRS. The Marathon has become the absolute benchmark for puncture-resistant pneumatic tires on wheelchairs. The Smart Guard protection belt is made from a proportion of recycled natural rubber. The “anti-ageing“ sidewall construction can withstand typical overloading caused by low inflation pressure for much longer. A brand new extra-wide and extra-comfortable version in 28 x 559mm is now available.

FLAT-LESS. SmartGuard puncture protected wheelchair tyres combine the comfort and light running of pneumatic tires with the puncture protection of PU tyres.

2GRIP. Hand-friendly tyres. The side walls are completely smooth, so the tyres glide silkily past the hands. Patent protected and standard on all Schwalbe wheelchair tyres.

BLACK ‘N‘ ROLL. Wheelchairs with black tyres? Schwalbe has made it possible. We developed a special Black’n Roll compound that does not leave unsightly marks on indoor floors. Additionally it is far more robust and much longer lasting.

Note: Use a pressure gauge to adjust tire pressures as the common ‘thumb check’ is insufficient due to the special construction of the Marathon Plus.
