RESTRAP LIGHTWEIGHT RACE HYDRATION VEST

For races where getting from the start to the finish in the shortest possible time takes priority, aerodynamics, comfort, weight and ergonomic access to nutrition all become critical. The Restrap Lightweight Hydration Vest is designed around exactly these requirements, without unnecessary complexity or bulk.
Reduced capacity, refined performance. Evolving from Restrap’s award-winning Race Hydration Vest, this model reduces carrying volume to achieve lower weight and improved breathability. The design remains highly functional, retaining the proven features that made the original vest such a popular choice.
Restrap collaborated with UCI gravel race winners, FKT setters and one-day racing specialists throughout development. What initially began as a weight-saving exercise based on the existing Race Hydration Vest became a complete redesign focused on delivering a lighter, more streamlined solution.
Minimalist construction. The lightweight mesh body includes four stretch front pockets alongside one underarm stretch pocket on each side. Stretch construction throughout allows the vest to move freely with the rider, while minimalist elastic chest retention provides simple adjustment and can be unclipped using one hand when rapid feed-zone changes are required.
At the back, a dedicated sleeve holds the included hydration bladder, with the hose able to run over either shoulder. A magnetic clip secures the hose when not in use, while a stretch rear pocket provides room for an emergency layer. Reflective detailing is also incorporated to help increase visibility during night rides.

The Lightweight Race Hydration Vest comes in two sizes:

– S/M – chest sizes between 80 and 100cm – t-shirt size XS to M
– L/XL – chest size between 100 and 12cm – t-shirt size M to XXL
